Bassmonk15
Hi all, new to Nexus (and also relatively new to PC gaming, only about 3 or 4 years) and I feel like I may have broken my mods somehow. Just got a new gaming PC with a partitioned hard drive (C:\ with 2 hundred-something GB, just enough to run the basic stuff and D:\ with about 1.5TB). I don't really know what I'm doing with having more than one disk available to me and I feel like I may have screwed up with putting mods on one disk and the game on another, but I keep getting really confused. I downloaded Steam and all my games and started a new game with 'Live Another Life'. It was going great but another mod I really liked isn't showing up in the in-game mods section (which I think is bethesda.net?) - 'amazing follower tweaks'. I deleted all of my bethesda.net mods and replaced them with the same mod from Nexus using the Vortex mod manager. They've all been downloaded, installed and enabled, and are showing up when I look at my load order. But when I go to load my game, it says that those mods are no longer present and ends up loading a vanilla game. Looking around in my D:\ I'm seeing my steamapps folder which has my Skyrim SE Launcher and other folders in it, which is why I put all of my Vortex mod folders in D:\ as well. Did I do something wrong? Please help; I feel like such a noob!

I downloaded Steam and all my games and started a new game with 'Live Another Life'. Please help; I feel like such a noob!Have you linked your account on Bethsda.net with your Steam account and that's required to do before being able to download mods via the in-game mod manager in the game menu? Why the game tells you that is because you still use a gamesave that those mods baked-in into a gamesave, so either start a new game or use another gamesave that doesn't have those mods included.
