Fixing far cry 2

I know i'll be like the only one saying this, but I really liked FC2. I'll admit, he AI was apalling and the lack of animals was annoying, but I thought it was good. The multiplayers okayish, but the map makers great.

 

Anyway, we'ree all entitled to opinions, so no ranting on about this post, kay?

but there's no such thing as perfection, it's utopia

there's always room for improvement in everything

there are plenty other 10/10 rated games who have even more flaws than FC2

 

not even the proudest artists can claim they've reached perfection, and no dignified magazine or reviewer can give a 10/10 to mark absolute perfection on anything...

or that's how I see it. but then again my expectations and tolerance have different value than those of other people.

Exactly. There is no such thing as perfection so no game should ever be rated perfect. I never said other games were rated fairly. If ANY game is given ten out of ten it has not been rated properly.

 

and FC2 is very high above standards, so I don't see a reason to flame it or claim to be forced to "settle with sub-standard material" or whatever

Eh, I liked it actually. In small doses but it definately wasn't the greatest game.
