Rest assured haswell will not be a lot faster than Ivybridge concerning the cpu part.

It will bring a lot of changes to the igp though.

And from what I've read about the bug is that some usb 3.0 sticks may have problems when the system comes out of s3 state.

It sounds like a power issue to me, the chipset can't power high speed usb sticks with a certain controller when it comes out of sleep mode, for me it isn't a big deal because I don't use sleep mode.

The USB problem is blown out of proportion. At worst it means is you may need to remove and insert a USB 3.0 device after wakeup.

Not really, you can just use the ramdrive pagefile workaround.

For games, a new video card. 550Ti is slow.
