Erik005
Rest assured haswell will not be a lot faster than Ivybridge concerning the cpu part.It will bring a lot of changes to the igp though. And from what I've read about the bug is that some usb 3.0 sticks may have problems when the system comes out of s3 state. It sounds like a power issue to me, the chipset can't power high speed usb sticks with a certain controller when it comes out of sleep mode, for me it isn't a big deal because I don't use sleep mode. FMod
The USB problem is blown out of proportion. At worst it means is you may need to remove and insert a USB 3.0 device after wakeup.I only have a 32bit OS. So I would have to upgrade to fully utilize all the ram in either one of these machines. Not really, you can just use the ramdrive pagefile workaround.CPU: Core2Quad q6600 @ 2.4ghz GPU: Asus GTX 550ti OC @ 1060hz My main question is what is going to offer me the most performance boost? the AMD build or the Intel build. For games, a new video card. 550Ti is slow.
