Dinglebarreis Posted February 4, 2021 Share Posted February 4, 2021 So recently this past week I got into nifskope and now I'm currently trying to add a machete gladius to the back of an already existing armor mod. In nifskope it shows up fine, same with the geck but when I grab it and equip it the machete is just not there. I did apply transform on it after getting it perfect like you do for helmets and that nonsense thinking it would help but maybe that messed it up? I dunno can't find anything that helps. madmongo Posted February 4, 2021 Share Posted February 4, 2021 Anything worn on the body has to be rigged to the human skeleton (armature). You can't just take a weapon and nifskope it into position. You need to parent the mesh to the human armature and then assign bone weights to it (probably 100 percent weighted to one of the spine bones). I don't think you can do that using NifSkope. I personally use Blender for this sort of thing, but 3ds Max can do it as well. If you don't know how to use Blender then you have a lot of learning to do before you can do this.
