Nexus forums messenger unocode support

Hello.
I have problem trying to compose message in my native language (see below).

 

Does nexus forums messenger not support unicode? Or I missing something in my profile settings?

A word of advice, always use the report button to remove a duplicate thread as there no need to post another thread just to make such a request.

We're aware of this, it's a limitation of the forum software we are using.

 

When we move PMs away from using the forum we'll be sure to support more characters. I don't expect that to happen any time soon though.

I was bit confused by fact that forum itself manage unicode quite well. I guess I'll stick to latin for now.

 

P.S. Is there are other way to send PM message (not via messenger)? Because I have received a message recently and it's displayed correctly despite having non latin characters in it.
