SKYRIM ON A MAC *WITH MODS* (legal HA, and without parallels/VMware)

Skyrim is a windows program. It was never intended to run on OSX . However, a MAC will run windows. BootCamp will work fine and it's built into OSX. You just need a ligit version of Windows to go with it. The problem is many MAC aficionados refuse to use Windows and insist on doing things the hard way. While things like wineskin can run Skyrim, they are not always 100% compatible with all mods. But running a real version of windows through BootCamp on a MAC is 100% compatible.

Okay, so is it long winded for me to download and install bootcamp? Does it cost? And can i use my current version of Skyrim with it, or will i need to buy a proper windows version to use with bootcamp?

Cheers

Hey I really don't understand the SKSE portion?

"Anyway, go to skse's website (just google it, i'm too lazy) and download the files.

...

1.) Download SKSE and place the correct files in the "Skyrim" and "Data" folders."

"The files" refers to which version? And "the correct files" is what exactly? In the SKSE I downloaded there is no explicit Skyrim and Data folder...

Okay so I figured out how to install SKSE (I think). However now when I launch Skyrim from Steam it says it's running for only a moment until it shuts down. This must have to do with how SKSE is being loaded, but I'm not sure how I could go about fixing the issue. Help?

For some reason, there's nothing on the Skyrim main menu except for the Skyrim logo. I can click around on the right bottom and the buttons must be hidden or something, but when I click them and somehow start the game, it is stuck on the loading screen forever except with no loading image. I think it's because I installed SKSE since that's when it started being like that. I use a mac osx yosemite. Please help, I really want to have mods like SkyUI working properly on my computer.

This is great but how do I get an already saved file to work on here? If I copy the file into the saved games folder then it just wont find it. is there a way for it to recognize my saved file? or is there a way to add SKSE to the version of skyrim i already have?
