Nutabreton
Hello, Are there any tutorials on how to work/add/edit trees and shrubs of Tamriel? As far as I understand SpeedTree CAD is used there which is a plugin for 3ds Max. Can someone give me a link on a kind of tutorial or whatever...? Thanks for help in advance. Regards,Nutabreton
alex2avs
Well... do you simply want to change the texture or build other trees ?
Nutabreton
So, I would like to build some other trees, though retexturing of the existing ones may be performed using the same tools, I suppose.
alex2avs
I didn't learn do make new trees. But I can do retextures of them using Paint.Net & the CS editor ;). and as far as I know there are no tutorials about trees...Did you checked SpeedTree CAD homepage for tutorials ? Nutabreton
Well, in fact, it is possible to get general tutorials on Speed Tree, but I am looking for specific ones dealing with how to export tree models into Oblivion and things like that. alex2avs
well it looks like you need to export the file as spt. and place it in Oblivion\Data\Trees\Then add it in the Cs editor select the textures and edit some settings ... that should be all (shortly). If you have spt. files I believe I could add them for you and make a tutorial
