ashtonlp101
Hello all, So after digging into some elements of the battle of Hoover Dam, I noticed that Obsidian moved dead bodies to a cell instead of disabling and marking for deletion. Is there a reason why they would opt to move them to a cell instead? You'd think it would save more memory and be less complicated to disable and markfordelete. I'm asking because I have a few battle scenes in my mod and use Disable and MarkFordelete to save memory, but if this way somehow saves memory more effectively I'd convert my scripting to use this method instead. Thank you.
Radioactivelad
I would guess it's because Disabled objects still process on some level, and Mark For Delete doesn't delete things until a cell change. Moving them to another cell removes them from "active duty" immediately.
