Noan Sumoy
So I've been having some crashes recently (not often, but still there), and I was thinking of making some merged patches in case some of my mods are causing problems. Tbh though I have no idea which ones I should merge. Can someone help me out here? Here's a list: GameMode=FalloutNV FalloutNV.esm=1DeadMoney.esm=1HonestHearts.esm=1OldWorldBlues.esm=1LonesomeRoad.esm=1GunRunnersArsenal.esm=1ClassicPack.esm=1MercenaryPack.esm=1TribalPack.esm=1CaravanPack.esm=1Companion Core.esm=1Interior Lighting Overhaul - Core.esm=1NPC Project.esm=1NVInteriors_Core.esm=1RobCo Certified.esm=1aHUD.esm=1Seachlight Airport NCR.esm=1FalloutNV_lang.esp=1Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition.esp=1Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition Plus.esp=1LFox Stealth Suit Bug Fixes.esp=1NCRRCombatFix.esp=1CASM.esp=1Purge Cell Buffers.esp=1The Mod Configuration Menu.esp=1Alsatian NCR Guard Dogs.esp=1GRARG.esp=1NCR Rearmed.esp=1Brighter Novac Player Room.esp=1NV Interiors - West Vegas Fringe.esp=1PerkEveryLevel.esp=1E.C.K.O. EDIT: While I'm here, I just ran BOSS and it's telling me all my official DLC have some dirty edits and need to be cleaned, anything in particular I should know about this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Edited April 7, 2013 by Noan Sumoy
senterpat
Well are you talking about merging mods or a merged patch? Two different things. What your talking about is merging mods, but a merged patch is easier and will probably help a lot.
Noan Sumoy
Ah, I wasn't aware there was a difference (I'm semi new to PC gaming in general). Could you tell me (or direct me to a source) about what I'd need to do in terms of merged patches?
senterpat
http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38413 The fnvedit training manual, tho some info is dated. To make a merged patch just load up all the mods in fnvedit, right click in the left window, go down to other, and hit create merged patch. That's the simplest way, more info is in the manual. :)

I found that there is a tool in Java (by ScripterRon) that lets your merge .ESPs which is good to to if you hit the limit of how many plugins can be loaded by New Vegas (like me). Here's a link, it is on the Nexus. Edited April 11, 2013 by Sean39
Noan Sumoy
Great, thanks guys. But does anyone here know any items from my list that I could put into a merged patch?
