Treusch Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 I was going to post this myself. I made myself a Gordon Freeman character. But what needs to go with the armor most importantly... Is the CROWBAR. Which should be a single handed weapon. And the armor is supposed to be for handling hazardous materials so it should provide excellent radiation and poison resistances. Think of it as a Radiation suit meets Power armor. I think the security armor would provide a good base if someone isn't looking to make a full suit from scratch. Also, I think it would be funny if someone reskinned the Mechanists costume into the HEV suit. All they would have to do is reskin it orange and add a little half life "a" (or whatever that is) where that small vent thing is just below the neck on the front. jkruse05 Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I know somebody made a newer looking HEV model with a helmet over on facepunchstudios.com, I'll see if I can find it. The AR 2 would have to be made from scratch, but you could probably adapt it to reload like the combat shotgun. I know it doesn't actually reload that way, but I think it'd work the best for Fallout.
