Random freezes on saving, xxxResetGlobalOnSleep error

Hi everybody

I finally got skyrim to run properly with a lot of mods, but there is this occasional freeze that I'd like to get rid off. Papyrus logs pretty much end with the following error for every freeze:

Error: Unable to call RegisterForSleep - no native object bound to the script object, or object is of incorrect type
stack:
[None].xxxResetGlobalOnSleep.RegisterForSleep() - Line ?
[None].xxxResetGlobalOnSleep.OnEffectStart() - &xxResetGlobalOnSleep.psc Line 3

Any attempt to save after the error leaves the game in a frozen state, this only seems to happen outdoors and is making it hard to get from A to B.

Unless you are trying to sleep at the time of the freeze, then I would disregard that. The papyrus log is not a crash log.

 

Please describe the natuer of your freezes-- do you freeze and then recover? Or does it freeze and you have to use alt-tab-del to exit the game? Do you still hear music, etc, or does that freeze too?

Does the freeze happen if you change all of your graphics settings to the lowest possible (low or none for everything, left slider position, no AO or FXAA)?

Is there a pattern to your freezing (specific places, during certain actions--pulling up a menu, combat, etc, after a certain amount of time)

Please provide your computer specs --Processor/speed, CPU, RAM Graphics card, driver version, VRAM

Also, any changes you have made to your prefs.ini or driver's game profile

Finally, please replace the list of mods with your BOSS log (you can copy-paste the text log BOSS generates) and enclose it in spoiler tags.

Well to be more specific, at certain times when the game is paused (When opening menus, quicksaving etc.) the entire game tends to stay in that state, becoming unresponsive. The music will continue to play, but it will stop once the track playing at the freeze ended. I have to close the game by alt-tabbing out when this happens. It seems to happen completely at random, it can happen after 5 minutes of playing or a hour if I'm lucky. The only thing the freezes have in common is that they only happen outdoors, and the RegisterOnSleep error is usually the last error in the papyrus logs (before VM is frozen[]...)

I'm not running any ENB, only a 2024x2024 texture pack and WATER.

 

The only changes I made to .ini files were increasing the available memory for Papyrus, and a change in UGridsToLoad to 7. (Which I was told was the most stable)

I wasn't entirely sure what you meant with the BOSS log, since it opens a .html file with multiple tabs for me. Untill I find out what you meant I put my load order within those tags.

In the BOSS GUI, there is an option to view log as html or text file. Choose text file instead of html.

Then simply copy/paste the text file to your post, enclose in spoiler tags if it is long.

 

Can you also please go back to your system information and add the information under Video Card?
