Interesting idea but I think many people learn a lot from written tutorials. The rest benefit from the visual aspect such as video tutorials.

 

Additional tutorials would be very welcome here in the Article Database as well as the CS Wiki (never put all your eggs in one basket!)

 

If there is to be any hand-holding, I would think it should be over existing tutorials, otherwise it would be wasted effort...well, it would help one person but the point of being a "teacher" is to help many. If a written/video tutorial exists and you are having to hand-hold a lot of people over a certain aspect of the tutorial, then that gives the teacher a clue on how to improve the tutorial to incorporate answers to the questions that eventually come up, thus making the tutorial better and avoids unnecessary confusion in the future.

Maybe if it paid... Even though I could probably teach some people quite a bit, I tend to suck at making easy to follow tutorials. But really, the hard part is the time spent, between my own mod and real life stuff, not much more time I can devote to things that aren't earning me money. As being paid to teach modding probably isn't going to happen, not much else that needs to be said.

Lhammonds and Vagrant have a very good point but this idea is quite sound to work there are some things in Blender/Nifscope that you cant learn from the tutorials ( rarely but sometimes)
