llloyd
Right. I * just * know some of you are going to be thumping your heads against your desk by the time I am done. So... I decided to reinstall Skyrim and all 98 mods. So I RARed up Skyrim in Steam, Skyrim in /my games , told Steam to uninstall Skyrim, deleted those two folders when done. I then told Steam to install Skyrim, waited for it to get done, ran TESVLauncher, configured it, exited out, extracted the SKSE files into the Skyrim folder, ran NMM and NMM says all 98 mods are still installed. So I closed NMM, nuked the Install INfo folder in the NMM Skyrim folder along with the Virtual Install folder, reran NMM, no mods showing up as installed. Yay! Fixed! Nope! I tried to install the Skyrim 2k HD texture mod and it stops part way and asks for permission to install over the Amidianborn textures. Since I wiped out the Skyrim folder it's no longer installed, and in NMM it has no green check mark, so how do I fix this silly thing so it understands it's installing to a raw brand new install? If you do that it should eliminate the issue that you have.
llloyd
But then I'd have to redownload the mods if I do that. Then again, it has gotten a bit bloated with updates. Hmm...

Hmm...You could, I suppose, move them elsewhere and move them back afterwards but redownloading would be your safest bet.
llloyd
Well, I sort of fixed it. But the mod info all vanished. I already did a 'Get missing download id's and mod info' a couple of times with no luck. No id's, no desc, nothing.
