Hey,

Im working on a new mod, that allows the Player to seduce NPCs (currently all NPCs with OppositeSex).

I dont want to do anything on the base NPCs, just a general option of having some adult fun in the wastes.

There will be no explicit scenes, just a fade to black sequence and a special Effect you get for having Sex.

 

The features I currently want to implement:

- You can ask any NPC for having fun with them (currently only OppositeSex)

- There should be some requirements/skill-checks to seduce Characters (not everyone should just hop into bed with you)

- The NPC then will lie down on any nearby bed and wait for you.

[completed, but problems with Ownership]

- Youll get a Perk that allows you to choose "HaveFun" instead of talking to the NPC when you "activate" him/her

[completed]

- After having Sex youll get a specific bonus-effect (kind of Well Rested, but some additional boni, too) for some hours.

- There will also be a new NPC "EsmeraldaSavilla" that can be hired as a companion

[partially complete, FollowerPackages/Scripts and Storyline missing]

Already been done man, there's like 5 seducing women mods with Fade to black.

The last seducing mod i heard of failed because the guy forgot to disable that option for kids.... .... yeah... it was pretty bad.

I know there are other mods like that, but I dislike the idea that you only can ask about 5 women to do it (the mods I saw only had some specific NPCs) and the fade to black comes in the dialogue.

I want to make the attempt more generic and maybe add some innovative features.

Forget the content for a minute, the actual mechanic of how it works is kinda clever. Not looked at how it works, but it adds the option to interact with ALL male npcs, even those added by other mods.

Sadly, mods such as that run into the unfortunate problem of having universal dialogue, which kills immersion really fast. That, and unless you have a certain condition attached to the dialogue, you also run into the problem of having those sex options for children in the game.

 

Truth be told, the only real way to make a quality dialogue expansion mod is to put the time and effort into making each encounter unique to the NPCs. Currently I can whip up dialogue in about fifteen minutes because I've done it so much, but if you don't have a lot of experience with the GECK, it'll take you hours. The GECK is not easy to use; it's not much fun to use either. There are absolutely no good tutorials for beginners -- it's all mostly trial and error, and you'll most likely end up discarding 90% of the work you've done while you're learning how to use it. It's an extremely awkward, frustrating, and time-consuming tool -- one that nobody should go into lightly while expecting good results. Wasteland Gigolo was a labor of love for me, and I feel that the time I spent working on it was worth it. That being said, if I wasn't as stubborn as I am, I probably would have given up halfway through it (I almost did several times anyway).

 

Now, I'm not trying to scare you off of this project; I think people should have more options in this game to give it as much replay value as possible. But understand that if you want to create something that isn't total crap, you really have to commit to it.
