I'm very new to modding, even though it seems pretty simple. I have no idea what I'm doing apparently. Crash on startup of modded Fallout 3 is almost always due to a missing master, in other words you're using an .esp without another file that it needs.In your mod manager you can left click on each of the plugins & their Masters will be listed at the bottom.You must have all the masters listed or else using that plugin will crash the game on start up.For example if one of those mods require CALIBR & you do not have it the game will crash on start up. Using a patch for a mod that you don't have is a common cause of this too. I don't use EWE but looking at their Description page it seems you are using an incorrect plugin. You've got: EWE Stormfront Studios Load Order Fix.esp That's a patch for Stormfront Studios Presents Mod, which you don't appear to have, if that's the case then that'll cause a crash on startup. So untick & delete EWE Stormfront Studios Load Order Fix.esp.If you still no joy, turn off your mods one at a time checking between each to see when the game stops crashing on startup. That way you can find the culprit & check it's documentation for it's requirements. Also you're going to need a patch for FWE & MMM to work together properly. A patch for the two can be found at FOIP: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4968 That will leave your MMM plugins looking something like this: Mart's Mutant Mod.esm (Fine where it is) Mart's Mutant Mod.espMart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.espMart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.espMart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.espMart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.espMart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.espMart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp (From FOIP, replaces all optional MMM plugins except the DLC ones)Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + DLCs.esp (From FOIP, requires all DLC's) You may want to get BOSS, that'll help guide you with load order: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/10193 Hope this helps! Have you got a multi core computer?Fallout 3 has trouble with multi core computers, mainly with ones that have more than two cores & use hyperthreading.There is a fix, you need to edit your Fallout 3 .ini file.The one you want to change is:For XP:My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\For Vista & Win7:Documents\My Games\Fallout3The file you want will be called:FALLOUT.iniOpen the .ini with Notepad & change this line:bUseThreadedAI=0to:bUseThreadedAI=1& insert this line under it:iNumHWThreads=2Save & close your ini. As to your load order, you've got a few MMM plugins you don't need: Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.espMart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.espMart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.espMart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp Are all built into the Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp patch that you have so untick & delete them. You need to remember that Fallout 3 was originally made to play through the opening scenes without the DLCs or mods. After many attempts to go past the birthing scene, I wized up and disabled the DLCs and mods. You can't use them anyway. I let everything play through to the birthday and made a hard save. At this point I reactivated my companion Brisa mod and continued through to just before exiting the vault and made another save. I haven't encountered this issue in a long while and I'm curious to see if we can't get your game to function so you can play from the beginning without problems.
