Kiois
Hey guys, I want to get back into playing Oblivion after a few years playing Skyrim and Team Fortress 2. So, quick question: What mods should I be downloading to get the best experience? I currently have the Game of the Year Edition of Oblivion. It currently has no mods. Azakiel
if you are fairly experienced with modding and comfortable working with a very specific installation order, then the FCOM overhaul is probably your best start point
Kiois
I should probably add that I haven't really used many mods in the past, at all. I used a couple in Skyrim to repair some crash issues in relation to the Soul Cairn but that's about all.

Kiois
Are those mods I linked to any good? Any better ones?
Azakiel
Its been a long time since I last played Oblivion, so I don't recall if I used any of the last 5 mods on your list (when I last played it I used the FCOM overhaul, and some misc minor mods). Certainly you want the Unofficial Patches for Oblivion, and any of the DLC that you have. I'll have a look around my hard drive and see if I can dig out my old load order to see what else I can suggest.
