Can't add mods to current save without "issues"

My current game is very stable, but when I try to add any mods to my current game, all my scripted mods reset themselves as if I was just starting them whether or not the mods I am trying to add have scripts or not. I am then "shoved" into 3rd person view. When I try to switch back to 1st person view it changes automatically back to 3rd again. If I am wearing any modded armor, it disappears. Lastly the screen flashes from normal to dark. I can not remove any mods nor can I add any. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Anybody know if this might have something to do with it?

After loading an old large save, random quest objectives are appearing, spell effects are firing off, and menus are opening during play without having activated anything.

One of the major changes in our title updates for Skhyrim was a change to how scripts are handled in saves, and allowing the game to better clean up scripts which are no longer needed. If you have saves that ended up in a state where they would activate objects in-game only to have nothing happen – in many cases this is because the scripting system is backed up and while the attempt to activate the object was successful, the resolution of that action has not yet occurred because it is stuck in a very large queue of scripts waiting to be finished. The side-effect of this fix is that those queued up scripts will now execute rapidly during play until it catches up. This will manifest as many of the actions that you tried earlier will now take resolve and take place, such as activating bookshelves, being affected by certain spells, picking up quest items and so forth. This is working as intended as the game is merely catching up with a backlog of actions that have previously occurred but were not yet resolved. You should continue playing while this is occurring (you can also stay in a safe area such as a town or your home if possible, or simply leave the game Paused in-game for a while and come back to dismiss any menus that pop up), until the issues stop occurring. Once these actions have triggered off, make a new save and continue playing from that new save.
