FOMM Disobedience!

Hi folks!

So I had been sifting through the internetz, trying to find a solution to my problem and while I found similar issues I wasn't able to find one that matched mine, I did find one that was pretty damn close (albeit with a slight variation) and I had intended to make a post in that thread but for some reason I was prompted "You cannot reply here" so perhaps the thread was locked, I'm not sure (there was no concluding post stating as much) but I digress.

I've been using FOMM (the one typically found on Nexus) for my mods and it has been working fine, however to get certain framework mods working it requires I install and utilize a custom made FOMM and for reasons that elude me... it just ant working. I load the normal one, boom, works fine, try and start the custom one and instead I get this error:

Fomm 0.14.11.13
OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0

System.ArgumentException: Extension "fomod" is not a supported archive file name extension.

at Fomm.PackageManager.fomod..ctor(String path, Boolean p_booUseCache)
at Fomm.PackageManager.Upgrade.UpgradeScanner.Scan()

Is anyone able to please guide me on how to unbork this issue? Cheers in advance. :D

Why are you not using the latest FOMM? Version 0.14.14.5 is available here.

I suggest you go back to where you downloaded the mod and read the comments section, if there is one.

Other than that, I don't know of any way to have FOMM install a mod that is not a supported archive file name extension.

If you got the mod from LL, good luck.
