Fallout TV Series

So, I heard that they are going to adapt our beloved franchise into a TV Show for Amazon Prime.

I'm in a mixed mind about it. I hold Fallout in a high regard, and I don't want to end up being some third rate TV Series. It deserves proper writers, good casting and a story to match the lore of the original Black Isle/Obsidian titles.

 

But that's me, what are your thoughts on this? How are you anticipating this recent adaptation?

I think it will be better than people expect. It all depends on the point of view you go into it with. I think, if you think it will be bad, then it will. However, if you go into it with the frame of mind that it's just a TV show for entertainment and doesn't have to be 100% lore friendly or like the games, then you'll probably like it.

 

If you expect it to be exactly like New Vegas, then it may not be for you. Enjoy it for what it is. It doesn't have to be perfect, nor will it ever be as perfect as one may wish it to be. Just sayin'.

 

I have not looked into it at all really. I want to eventually watch it when it releases and be completely surprised, not knowing what to expect of it at all. Not reading or watching anything about it beforehand. Personal preference. Like it, don't like it, that's alright.
