Darkbane917
Okay, So I had this weird problem when starting skyrim, I'd get past the long 4-7 min intro then make my character, They line me up with the rest of the stormcloaks, Call up the first guy execute him then they call me I get up there waiting to be put on the block. Normal right? Wrong. The script in which makes the imperial captain puts you on the block never activates so I just stand there like an idiot. Even after alduin Attacks. So as I set there I used console commands like setstage, moveto and enableplayercommands and it works for like five minutes, Till I find out after alduin makes a nice hole out of the tower fit for jumping through, the hole in the inn is never there, cause I was never on the block so it could load the area with the hole in the inn. What's stopping the script. Mods, offical updates Updates, or something else in general.
IsharaMeradin
How many mods do you have active? It is safe to run with mods at the start of the game, but the start of the game is also a very sensitive scenario. A good place to find out if you are running too much stuff for your computer/game combination to handle. If I were you I'd consider one of the following: 1. Back off on the # of mods, especially script heavy mods as your issue sounds like it could have been severe script lag made worse by console usage.2. Disable all mods save those needed for your character, then enable the other mods either after your hands are cut free or you've exited Helgen altogether. In either case, start a new game. Course that is a moot point since you are stuck trying to start a new game :P

IsharaMeradin
That is odd... Probably some mod then. Might help others who have a better idea of specific mods and their interactions if you list your load order and/or BOSS log. Use the spoiler tag if possible.
