jquickri
So basically my problem is that I can't use FNVEdit anymore. For some reason I get an error message right from the beginning telling me it can't read the main falloutnewvegas.exe. I'm not sure what the issue is but I think it has to do with the same thing that is causing another problem. When I go to my steam library, right click on fallout and click on preferences. I go to local files and verify integrity of files, and it says a file is missing and will be updated. But it never seems to update. Any other's have similar problems? M48A5
Run FNVEdit as an administrator.
SMB92
Open FalloutNVLAuncher.exe (yes the Launcher) just once without running the game from it, just simply open and close it, your NV registry keys will be restored and FNVedit will open again. Repeat if you experience this again.
jquickri
Thanks so much for the help SMB fixed the problem. Although i still get the "1 file failed to validate and will be updated" when I use steam to check the integrity of game cache. The game works fine but I kind of worry about these things. Suppose I should ask steam?
