Transparent Power Armor

I'd like someone familiar with modding do me a tiny mod

 

1. Content:

Make some suit of Power Armor mods of every type in game. Change its transparency so that it show the body underneath, kinda like transparent/invisible PAs.

 

Ie: Invisible Remnant Power Armors...

 

They could be sold in some vendors, or an item crafted from Power Armors (much preferable). You dont need anything other than a PA, a wrench, a hammer, some misc items if you want, and 70 Repair to transform one type to its equivalent.

 

2. Procedure

It seem Just go to the NiMaterialProperty for the mesh and set the alpha flag to something less than 1. The filmy lingery in same name mod were done with alpha at 0.8. Tat's the clue I get.

 

3. Reason:

 

Veronica, or any other girl, in PA is like a statue, I hate that. Most of the time i have to refrain from outfitting them with PA because I dont want some clanking statue following me around Mojave.

 

4. Counter:

 

Why not transform every PAs in game into that, you ask? Well, we certainly would want to control who will wear invisible armor, wouldnt we? Some burly curly haired guy in the buff is not a pretty sight.

If you know how to change the transparency, why are you asking someone else to do it for you?

Cause I dont know jack about modding FNV and I firmly believe in letting competent people doing what they know best instead of poking my knowless hands into the mess.

 

The comment in procedure I copypasta from a comment in filmy lingeries mod thread, not because i know what it is. I mean, just because I say mercie beaucoup does that mean I can speak French? not bloody likely, right?

that mod has vests that are invisable, have the same effects as power armour and same dt i hope this helps

Thank but they dont fit the requirement.

 

With the invisible vest I can get Cass to wear Vera's Outfit but still have reasonable protection.
