1. there but ugly, come on who would wear those down the street?

Who wears 3D glasses casually? Don't you only wear them when watching something in 3D? =P

I dont like vista so im not gunna buy these. plus...well, im broke

Windows 7 is addressing all the problems of Vista without a loss of functionality, so don't fear!

I'd heard of this stuff before, and it does look really cool. Now, it'll never be the same as using a 3D monitor and a game designed to be 3D, but it's still really friggin' cool. I'm using a laptop with an ATI video card right now though, so woe is me.

Cool, but nVidia is on my personal blacklist for a while after that stunt they pulled with their bloody defective graphics boards. Poor quality control followed by denial and deflection of blame does not deserve reward, even if other product lines are absolutely flawless.

Prolly wouldn't buy something like this anyway, because of the whole "cost vs necessity" thing, but... yeah. Not a huge fan of nVidia right now, seeing as how it takes a huge fan to keep my laptop from overheating because of their crappy quality control. If ATi came out with something similar, I might just consider it when I had the money to spare. Assuming, that is, that someone cooked up XP drivers for 'em.

I think playing with such equipment would be cool, and a bit advanced. I think a good playing experience can be given to you if the graphics are good (graphics like in FO3, Oblivion and Assassins creed). I can't stand Morrowind because of the graphics. I know that I'm very spoiled :P
