Joan777 Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 I would very much like a mod that unlocks Iron Will training from the officer school as early as possible.It annoys me that I feel like I need to train up a new squad after I finally unlock it. johnnylump Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) That's one you can do by editing DefaultGameCore.ini and patching the changes into the game. I haven't used it, but http://xcom.nexusmods.com/mods/55 is probably the easiest way to accomplish it. Look for the line that starts with the following: OTSBalance=(eTech=eOTS_Will_I ... You'll see a parameter: eRank=eRank_Major Change it toeRank=eRank_Sergeant and do whatever ResourceHacker says to patch it into the game, and it should be available as soon as you build the OTS.
