Can't Check In Cells through Version Control

Hello all,

I am running into an issue with version control. I go to create more mountains for the background of my worldspace, but during check-in within version control I can't check-in the land data because it relies on parented world cells. So I go to check in the new world cells within the world space, and the GECK freezes on me. This happens whenever I check in cells. What the hell is going on?! Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

All I did was load in new cells in my worldspace and edited terrain in them. For whatever reason loading in new cells and checking them in causes this issue. If I just try to check in the "LAND" data it pops up with an error saying it is parented to cell data that needs cheked in. But say I edit some Land data in the parts of my world space I've already edited I don't have to check in the cells, I can check in just land data without parent issues,

Did you make the terrain changes with version control enabled in the GECK? If not, you will need to check out the changes and then check them in.

Are you running the GECK as administrator? Depending on how you set up your network share you might have permission errors if you don't run as admin.

From what I have read the GECK extender is supposed to work with version control but you have to disable certain features in the ini files. I haven't actually tried it though. Whenever I am using version control I always use the plain vanilla GECK.

I messaged Roy about it when I first started using VC. You just have to change one line and it works. But the issue I'd have with using the vanilla GECK is that my ESM is dependent on JIP for scripting purposes, so if I load it in the vanilla GECK, will this mess anything up?

Okay, so what I'm gathering so far is that loading in *new* cells in a world space and checking them in is causing the issue. I looked at the cells that were giving me issues when checking in, and they are cells that appear on the regional menu as black instead of squares. So what can I do to load these cells and register them as a part of my world space?

EDIT: So the issue appears to be a glitch in the region editor. It is supposed to load cells within the region I set, but for whatever reason it did not do that. Upon creating a new region the issue was fixed.
