H2J16
So a while back i tried to install this mod: FNIS, now okay i installed nexus mod manager and it says i need to download net framework 3.5 the problem was that every time i try it says windows couldn't find the required files to complete the requested changes. Make sure you're connected to internet and try again. Now the download goes to 75% and this error keeps popping up and i could not find any solutions. So now FNIS is in my folder i launched the game without thinking and everyone stuck floating in mid air with arms and legs spread out like they were crucified :P the game got broken. So i deleted all the local content from steam and had re-installed skyrim. With that i transferred all the mods properly onto the folders again manually. So i launched skyrim and saw that my saves had gone missing, i downloaded Recuva and had recovered 1 save and that was the latest save of my character. So basically in the my saves folder there is only 1 single save the file is an ess format. So i launched skyrim from the official launcher and through the skse and the same issue comes up. When i click continue from the menu it says some items are missing from this save and some items and objects would not be loaded would you like to continue. Now i use to get this error whenever i took away a mod and never ever had an issue when i had pressed "OK", so when i press "OK" the game just freezes on that same screen it makes my laptops desktop completely unresponsive, i cannot access task manager and i have to shut down my laptop. this keeps on happening and i have no idea what to do.... my last resort is to uninstall the game and do everything again and try if it still works. THINGS I HAVE DONE: The audio settings are on 24 bit 48k.I have tried to uncheck all mods and attempt the load and yet the same thing happens, i restarted the computer from there and checked the mods tried to load the same thing happens again.i have tried the weird skyrim workshop button on the mod manager for the skyrim launcher and the same error appears...What do you guys think i should do? uninstall the game and start fresh? OR uninstall the game and do the same process again?additional details: As a desperate attempt i had backed up skyrim a while back and i had tried to recover the save from the steam launcher so i had in a way backed up the game whilst it was already installed, could this be a issue? Thanks in advance! Vanadinit
bumping after 45 mins really?I personal think that you PC also have a malfunction because if you are not able to install something like the MS net framework 3.5. Who is essential to much more then some Skyrim modifications ;)Because you only have some safe game who is prolly infested with a mod who you cant turn of because it will break it. You are doomed and must play it from the start. Thats why every creator of a modification will write in his readme , create a back up of your files and savegames. Drytor
Double check your load order. Double check readmes to see if there are any conflicts.Have you tried starting a new game? The easiest way to test whether or not the issue is with your save or with something else is to try a clean game.Try a new game with all mods. If that doesn't work then turn them all off. If that does work turn them all on one by one and see where conflicts or your problem occurs.May even be worth seeing whether or not your save will run vanilla.
