Paulkmf
I've been using the CK for about 2 weeks now. I've run across a problem with scripts. I've found out that there is supposed to be a scripts.rar in the Data folder for the CK to be able to read and compile scripts. Or that's what I've read.Well, my Data folder does not have it. Can't find it, can't download it. No one knows where it comes from or where it goes. Seriously though, it's supposed to be part of the CK? What do I need to do to get this? Reinstall CK? Can't I just download the one stupid file instead?
IsharaMeradin
When you install the Creation Kit the scripts.rar file will be included (scripts.zip if special edition). If 32-bit Creation Kit for Skyrim LE (original), simply verify the Creation Kit install through Steam (backup any loose PEX and PSC files that may be installed directly to the "Data > Scripts" folder as some people have experienced a complete wipe of that folder). If 64-bit Creation Kit for Skyrim SE, you'll have to check the Bethesda Launcher to see if there is any verification tool, otherwise re-install. Nothing in there says anything about "verifying". Never mind, it's in 'Properties>Local Files>' Edited March 7, 2021 by Paulkmf
