ShadowBSE
Hey folks, I just got a new computer and decided to make a clean Windows install etc. So I redownloaded Skyrim and tried to launch it... Worked well until I hit the "options" button in the launcher to set my resoultion, etc. At this point the launcher always crashes... Does anyone know a proper solution? Georgiegril
I would suggest checking your computer to make sure you have the time/date correctly set up,then if that doesn't help try updating your driversalso make sure you are running with admin permissions. ShadowBSE
It was BitDefender Internet Security 2013. I excluded the whole Steam folder from its features and then it worked.
