Neonalig
I've been enjoying slow download speeds for the better part of three years. We only got broadband two years ago (100mbps), so I expected as much at the beginning. However, since getting broadband, the speeds never actually improved. I recently decided to purchase supporter to see if that would help - no change whatsoever. I've even gone through two different ISPs in the span of those three years. I know this is Australia, and we're a country synonymous with slow download speeds, but a decent portion of us are now able to easily get 10MB/s+ on the internet. The only tested server to show increased speeds above expectations was the Premium CDN, but I'm not about to pay for premium to enjoy a fraction of the advertised speeds. Here's hoping these post results help . --------Country: AU Internet Service Provider (ISP): TPG Average Download Speed (non-Nexus downloads): 10MB/s Download tests:Paris: ?? Pickysaurus
Sorry to hear you're having issues. As the speed seems to be consistently bad with all our servers (which are in completely different countries or on separate ISPs) it seems to problem is potentially bad routing from your location or an ISP issue. Can you try a VPN and see if that helps? We recently introduced our Premium CDN and that seemed to have solved at lot of the download problems in Oceania and Asia. I think your report is the first since then to include slow speeds from there too.
