Counciler
When you're like me and you've leveled to 81 or higher, more than half of your spellbook becomes useless. Level-balanced spells no longer affect your usual enemies, such as Turn Undea or Calm/Charm. Destruction spells no longer do useful damage. Healing spells no longer heal for useful amounts. Wards no longer withstand enemy spells. The list goes on! How about a mod that rebalances the Novice, Apprentice, Adept, and Expert spells to be useful to player characters level 60-80? It would be nice to break out the old Wall of Flame or Heal Other again! I would do it myself, but I'm not sure what would be 'balanced' instead of simply overpowered. Counciler
That's a great idea, Counciler! You're a pretty cool guy for suggesting this, by the way. You look nice too. Mmmmmm.

Counciler
doesn't midas magic add new spells instead of overhauling the old ones? I'm talking about improving the weaker vanilla spells so they are useful to higher level characters.
GrimyBunyip
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33395 I prefer mods that scale spells automatically with skill level.
blacksupernova
I use a mod that add fortify destruction power enchantment using same slots as fortify destruction cost. That way, I will have to balance cost decrease and power increase, kinda fun :)
