Varied Martial Arts Styles

So I was just looking through the mods and saw how many hand to hand combat mods there were. There's a few, but not a lot of variety to be found. So I was thinking. What if someone were to create a mod that added multiple martial arts styles? For example, karate would be a more hand-based attacking and blocking, kickboxing would utilize more limbs for more attacks, judo would be a wrestling/counterattack mix, krav magra (I think that's the spelling) would be a very powerful, but very precise and tough art, aikido would be a purely counter and submission, etc. etc. If possible, you could level up in the schools to unlock more techniques, i.e. more damage, better blocking, similar things. The main problems would be animation, as it would require many changes, and just programming it all. I have no experience with Skyrim mod creation, but do know a thing or two about coding in general, and help would be appreciated. I really don't expect this to have more than one style to start off, just so nobody thinks I'm expecting anything significant unreasonably early.

Any input on this would be appreciated, especially about the process of how to do it and if this is impractical beyond belief. Again, I'm kinda new at this, so I truly have no idea how much this would involve.

the issue is you need animations as well as someone experienced with the animation manager.

I honestly can't think of any mods that add entirely new animations to the game off the top of my head.

There are some that recycle unused animations, but very few make new animations for the sake of a skyrim mod.

Now that I think about it, you're right. Never really realized that before. As an idea, could it be possible to blend existing animations together, like taking the "taking a hit while blocking" animation and blending it with an attack animation to simulate blocking a strike and then attacking? It'd probably look really choppy, but wouldn't require creating any "new" animations, in a way. That is, assuming it's possible to mess around with the existing animations like that.
