Removing Followers and Companions From Preferences?

Is there a way to remove followers and companions mods from my Nexus page?

I looked in preferences but didn't see an option.

 

Nothing against them, I just don't use them. Never have never will.

They fill up my pages and searches with clutter that I have no interest in.

Go to a Nexus site page (not the forums)

Click on your avatar image

Select "Site preferences"

Select "Content Blocking" tab

Under: "Use game-specific filters to search for tags to block." Select the desired game from the drop down

For Skyrim and Skyrim SE

Scroll down to "Components"

Locate the tag "COMPANIONS/FOLLOWERS"

Click on it, the tag will change colors and appear at the top of the page under "Currently blocked tags"

 

Do note that this will block any mod that uses that tag. Therefore, there may be some larger quest type mods that contain potential followers which may get blocked. It may also be possible that some follower mods are not properly tagged and still make it past the filters. But it should help to a large degree in reducing the overall number of follower related mods that you see in your searches.
