Hello!

Sadly since a few days my Skyrim has a huge problem.

Everytime I switch into first Person, then after 1-2 Seconds (or immediately if I swing Camera) the Game pushs me back into 3rd Person. Thats somehow not cool, as its a nice Experience to check out every stuff in 1st Person View.

Are there any Mods who are known to cause this Problem ? Don't really know which one it could be, I didnt care for that Problem at the first time, so it happened to my at first maybe 3-4 Months ago hmmmh.

Help would be nice =D. I installed a new Version of Skyrim and added some standard mods and it also got this Problem. Maybe its one of those or is it then something with the .ini File ? Please help, if you know any suitable information .

After a few Tests I saw the problem only occurs on some Savegames. My Saves, which are nearly not affected by modded content (except texture stuff and so on) don't have this Problem. Maybe you know then any mod causing this.

A load order would be nice?

Animation mods can cause this sort of thing. I use a weird animation mod I downloaded form another site, and it will 'lock' me in third person some times, I actually have to use an animation from another mod that forces me back into to first person to go back to first person.

But I've never encountered anything quite like this.

Well I never cared about that Load Order stuff, read it a lot when looking at Mods, but to be honoust, I just put my Mods into Data and then start right off with the game, no problem has occured to me so far as I concern ... sometimes my Game crashed, but I didn't think about load-order back then ... Well if I think about it, maybe this is a problem, but I dont have any mods, who I suspect of causing this ... most of them are Texture or Weapon/Armor mods ;o. Maybe gonna reinstall everything, but as it looks, its based on the Savegame and maybe its broken then ... sad.

Just for curiosity:

How would I have told you the load order ? Is there a tool to get it via .txt or shall I need to write down all my 102151613 mods ? ;o (not that I have more than 20 - 30 atm.)

Well some mods do require many different textures/meshes/ etc. If you just stick them where you think they belong in your Data folder then you are going to have weird conflicts. I suggest install these few tools ahead of time before you start modding Skyrim:

Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) - this tool does what the name is. Managing your mods. There is an install link right in the Nexus site, top of the page.

TES5Edit tool - If you do a search in the Skyrim Nexus. I am pretty sure that search will lead you to silverlock.org (yes silverlock is free) TES5Edit tool will help you straighten out load orders and it will also find conflicts. Conflicts that will crash your game at startup and a lot of other neat things you can do. To use this tool you need 7z or WinWar. 7z or WinRAR will give you all the folders needed to run the TES5Edit tool. Basicly you need to download the TES5Edit tool with 7z or WinWar.

I am saying grab these tools because many mod files share the same names of other mods. I can not count how many times I'd open different mods with 7z and find folders named. data/meshes/textures. yeah the mods are different but carry the same folder names. Some mods require you to either make a new folder, delete some other folder, or change the name of an excisting folder to get mods to work.

Best case scenario for installing mods to work correctly your tools are:

7z or WinRAR - either or

Nexus Mod Manager

TES5Edit

Some people even use:

BOSS plus all the other tools above. BOSS places plugins in order. Most plugin orders are common sence of where to put them. Your mod plugins will show up in the NMM and TES5Edit tool when they are installed. You can also access your plugins in the vanilla launcher under Data Files.

 • 1 year later...

I hate to revive old posts, but I am having this exact issue and can't find a solution, I don't have any camera affecting mods either. I use NMM, then BOSS for load order, then TES5Edit to check for load error crashes. Loads and plays fine other than the camera. No errors, some warnings but I haven't bothered to try to clean any mods. I know there is the FormID "[00] Skyrim.esm \ Camera Shot \ 00106367 <1stPCam>" that you can find using TES5Edit but I don't know what the values mean here.

You can see my load order plus my LOOT and BOSS results at this post. Any help would be appreciated.
