Creating a follower

Does anyone know for a tutorial on making a new follower in the geck?

 

I have placed the NPC and even tried giving him the A.I data and packages of Jericho but he still has a default greeting without any dialogue options and doesnt follow the pc or anything like that..

 

Any help is appreiated :)
