System.OutOfMemoryException Error

So I wanted to give it a try to this Skyrim Mods. This is my first time ever installing a mod.

Im using Nexus Mod Manager and I'm trying to install the Immersive Armors Mod.

I download it and add the mod using NMM. After that I click on "Activates the selected mod" and after a bit I get a "System.OutOfMemoryException" error

 

What am I doing wrong? :mellow:

It seems to be a problem with rather large files. I suggest manually adding anything large, then activating them when you run NMM.

Try to run NMM as administrator, see if that helps... if not then do what SymVoid said.

The fix is to manually download the file, then place the unzipped folder you just downloaded into your Mods file (not the data file)

(probably Games/Nexus Mod Manager/Skyrim/Mods)

 

Then, open up NMM and it should appear in the mod section. Just activate as if you downloaded with NMM.

 

Alternately, you can download the file anywhere and use the "Add Mod From File" option in NMM.
