Buy Morrowind on steam or CD version ?

Hi, I need to know if I can still use the creation and mod Morrowind if I buy Morrowind on steam.

 

I have a french version CD of the game but the french version does not work with english mods.

you can use mods just go to programfiles/steam/steam apps/common/morrowind/datafiles

 

And if you want the construction set you need to get the goty version of morrowind on steam.

The Construction Set is NOT in the Steam version. Not even in the Steam GOTY.

 

If you want to mod, do NOT get the Steam version. It says right on the Steam page that it doesn't include the Construction Set.

 

If you want to create mods, you MUST get the physical CD GOTY. (like this http://www.amazon.com/The-Elder-Scrolls-III-Morrowind-Pc/dp/B0000CNUUP/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1367056709&sr=8-1&keywords=morrowind+pc+goty ) However, if you don't plan on creating mods and just plan on downloading them and using them, either the Steam or CD GOTY should be okay. Whatever version you want, make SURE you get the GOTY. You need the extra content to use a lot of good mods.

No, it says clearly right on the Steam GOTY page that it doesn't include the Construction Set, unlike the CD GOTY.
