Make some REAL mods..

I have a male character and I've found a lot of nice male armors for him. (I based him on my husband.) Some are sexy, others are real armors, just like with my female characters. I think if you can't find any, you don't know how to search properly. That's not our fault, is it?

I got tired of people like you, who don't know how to search properly, complaining so I put together this partial list to help you out:

I do like some lingerie style clothes for my girl, since I like wearing lingerie in real life. It's a roleplaying game, and women always have more clothes than men. I have two closets and half of my husband's closet. Enough Said.

Hi. Please cut this Cute elf / large hooters poo. :wallbash:

and make some Real cool armor and weapons and not just some B-Movie replicas.

I dont know if iam alone... but iam tired of this hentai everywhere.

Yeah i dont know how to make mods. but ive seen a lot of skilled modders.

and just want to tell them this : Please dont lay down your time on these large titted girls

and make Real cool armors. :thanks: You Real modders out there!

Consider the demographic of people playing a FANTASY game, then you realize why there are so many mods like that out there.

Just search for the hidden gems, surprisingly there are plenty of 'good' mods out to find.

Well, it's the old topic again. Personally I think it's interesting what people create when they have the possibilities and tools to. It would be interesting aswell to have some statistics about the content created, the autors and the context, it would make a nice survey.

IMO the vanilla game lacked big of eyecandy. Looking at many other fantasy games - mostly the asian ones - Oblivion looked too prude and... hm, ugly for beeing a fantasy game. The fact that the game engine on the other hand had great possibilites and is highly mod-friendly, it was just a question of time when the first alterations in appearence of the female characters would appear, for this is one of the three first mods beeing done to most games: bare boobs, a lightsaber and more gore.

If the game was like one of the asian fantasy games like Lineage (beeing legendary for it's bare clothed, exeggeratedly beautiful looking female characters), modders would concentrate more in doing "real" armors (you know, armors that actually act like armors and not lingerie) I guess.

As mentioned before, there ARE great mods that fit more into the TES universe than most titty/lingerie mods. You just have to disable the adult content while searching - it won't solve the cute girls savegame issue, but that a thing you have to deal with. Heh, that reminds me of this: Oblivion Character Creation :D

It's really funny to see such a topic...

I will talk out of my own experience and some already know me well enough and know what I mean:

I dislike men, no matter how they look like, I'm absolutely not compatible to them. So you can already imagine that I would never consider to download something like Robert's male body or the funny Shemale mod, BUT the difference between you, Khajiit89 and me is that I do not care. I'm just one of several thousands who like to play Oblivion. And same as everyone else, I like to play it the way I want and since the game gives me the oppertunity to do so, I use it ofc. I'm not the super-famous modder here (yet^^), but I learned how to mod and am creating some to change aspects of the game which I believe should be changed, but I would never force someone to dl and install the mods I create. They are optional like all other mods.

I will once I'm better with Blende also create armors and cloths and they will probably go into the same category you dislike. The reason for this is that I want to add my own interpretation for cloths and armor. So do all other modders, too. Look at colourWheel's mods, they are great, imo a piece of art. The School uniform he(or she) created already exists with another look, made by Pancho. 2 different interpretations of one and the same clothing types. Same applies to Races like the Cute Elves. Tbh, I think that the Lattamer e.g. are to tall, so I could, if I had the permission of course add my own version, but I won't since I'm already working on other projects.

What I suggest you is to download some tools like Nifskope, Nifscripts for Blender and Blender itself and create your own mods. Even if you do not have the knowledge, doesn't mean that you can't do it! The 1st mods I created were for Tenchu 2(custom level called Queen of Pain), the level editor on a psx game is completely different from any tools used on a PC, but I learned how to use the CS and Blender and from the look of things, those who used my MRI mod usually liked it. You can do it, too^^.

Modders tend to make mods for themselves, None of us have to share. And wish people would respect that ;) But if you're sick of this "Hentai crap" check out Slof's, Sickleyield's, Sinblood's, Elynda's mods as examles. They are not big titted girls with anime-inspired looks ;)
