Bizarre graphical glitch

Recommended Posts

So, I've been playing skyrim for a while now with some graphical changes, and I get to my mod order later on, and hopefully someone can help me fix this issue. It happens randomly, and typically doesnt show up until I've been playing for a little while, once I restart the game it's back to normal for a little while. I wasn't having this problem up until last night, and I'm not sure what could be causing it.

I have another graphical thing going on, which I can't upload a photo of, because I have no room left (If someone could tell me a hosting site that I can actually use to link to a picture on here, that would be great because I've been wrestling with it for a few minutes).

Seems like there have been a lot of complaints lately from people with 1 GB VRAM cards who use the HD texture pack. That's not really a good combination, if you think about it:

The game normally needs about 512 MB of VRAM, and it's mostly 1K x 1K textures (each texture uses 1 MB of RAM). The HD texture pack gives you mostly 2K x 2K textures (4 MB of RAM each), so it follows that you really need about 2 GB of video RAM.
