aiglos357
tx3000 was banned the other day, so I'm pretty sure he removed the videos.
Guest
Would it be unethical to re-host the videos? They're actually a damn good resource... but then again, they're not our intellectual property to re-distribute. That being said, there was no licensing on the videos - but I think that's just mincing words.
shaikujin
Ahh, the swf incident. Damn shame, dude was nice and patient enough to create tutorial vids.
MRG
What did TX3000 do to warrent getting banned? I guess I could just search his name & read about it, but as I just now saw this, i'm curious. I will second what was said above. The videos are a great source of info. I do not believe that they were copyrighted & so they are free domain I would believe. I downloaded all the files in order the first day he posted them. If it would help, I could combine them all into a single file or I could combine them into the 4 sections that he had originally posted them in & upload them. How about if I upload them to the Nexus User Interfaces Section? I'll gladly do this, but I want an Admins permission first. If you have another location you want them, please let me know. -MRG
L0bban
I only get sound playing these. The mediafire link only connects to a filehosting program, cant find any player there.I have 1280-1024 max resolution on my monitor. can that be a problem? SpeedyB64
Being the only person to actually talk to tx (over skype) I can say that He was banned because he is quite rude, a bit of a know-it-all, and does no research before making a comment. He was banned because he made a big rant about a file he said was broken and ignored all the people that told him otherwise (it was a flash file that he didn't know how to use). I think you should re-host the videos they help cut down on the troubleshooting and are great for beginners. BTW L0bban you could try VLC (it can play just about anything)
MRG
Just tell me where to upload them to & I'll do it. Sucks that he was rude. He *seemed* like a nice enough guy to me. Took him a lot of time & effort to make the videos & upload them. Shame he was banned a couple days later. Still rudeness is rudeness & I deal with them on a daily basis @ work & so don't need to deal with them online in my free time. -MRG
SpeedyB64
I actually have no idea where to upload them :P I would try to upload them to my site and link them to here but I don't have them all (Have only one of them) You could upload them to the same site and ask the admin if they can repair the links on the first page here. PS Tx was fine in regular conversation, arguments just got a bit carried away and dragged on.
LHammonds
tx3000 was banned and here is the notification topic (you can see others that have been banned there as well) As for re-hosting, please do not do so unless you have direct permission from tx3000 himself. He took the time to create those videos and if he no longer wants to share them, he has every right not to. If somebody would like to create their own videos that covered the same topics, feel free to do so. As it has been suggested above, VirtualDub is an excellent tool I also recommend. Since the links in the OP is no longer valid, I am closing this thread and unpinning it. LHammonds (Admin)
