ffanxii4ever
Does using Games for Windows Live to get the achievements invalidate any "unofficial" mods (ones community members make)? If not, is there some sort of second step that I am missing to get my mods working, other than putting the .esp file into the Data folder? Any and all help is much appreciated. When you say the mods not working do you mean that the .ESPs wont stay selected in the launcher (if you're using the default launcher) or whatever was added or changed isn't as it should be ingame? TheOutlander
I find there is usually one of two reasons why certain mods won't stay selected: 1. The Mod name contains a special character (anything not a letter, number). 2. The Mod has be set badly and needs truncating (open it up in GECK and see if it gives you an error during the load that asks if you want to truncate the mod - doing so usually fixes the issue). ffanxii4ever
Well I have been able to get the mods to work in game, but they do not like to stay selected in the launcher, and there is only letters in the mods name, and the GECK does not ask about it truncating it. Skotte
the default launcher has a bug that doesn't let it "remember" what mods are selected I'd suggest trying out another launcher FOMM -> http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=
