jaysus
that project is on hold since ages as it broke too many copyright laws aswell as not being able to implement any of the oblivion specific needed things like npcs, ai, quests and so on...interesting never the less but afterall the only things the crysis engine adds is dynamic lightning
SavageArtistry
To me, except for the land masses, water and trees (things I would guess are from the Crysis game itself) it looks the same with a cool fly-through view of the city. I am curious about that music in the video though. :P
TotallyNotToastyFresh
Holy holy hell. That's epic. I want that mod. :(
vipresa
It sure is pretty.. It would be nice if a totally working mod like that could be made. but pretty though, really pretty!
myrmaad
The best thing about that vid are the comments. ROFL: "Stop! You violated the law."
nnyftw
It wasn't ever a serious mod or anything like that, sadly enough. The original video was posted (i believe) as a proof of concept to show to some rather skeptical forum goers. Or at least that's what i've been able to piece together. More than copyright, i think that the fact that it spread too many ideas around was the main issue that got it removed. I mean, what if someone decided to put Morrowind into Oblivion? I mean, (ahem), never mind that, but what if i decided to put Halo 3 into Gears of War? The gaming world would fall apart, that's what. jk
madmax747
That video doesn't look nearly as good Oblivion does on my PC but awesome effort and I do have Crysis so I can imagine what it would really look like. I was very impressed with certain elements of the Tomb Raider Underworld engine. If Beth can incorporate something like the interactive foliage, and the prolific life in and out of the water it could be truly awesome. I came across a herd of Wild Horses near the Imperial City that must be due to one of the mods I installed. That was cool! Surprising and cool! More things like that would make the game better than it already is. I might never get out!
