Enemies unkillable

So, I have just gotten hold of Dragonborn for my game and decided to pick up the game again for real (I have been playing back and forth to try out new mods I've found) so I installed the DLC and started updating some of my mods.

 

But I've now run into a problem. Enemies have become unkillable. Whenever they "die" they just stagger and starts to run away, yelling out that they're yielding.

 

I noticed it as soon as I started playing my save that I started a few weeks back (havent gotten that far on it). I didnt think much about it at first but after a few minutes it all seemed strange. Sometimes they died, but it took them quite the beating while they were down to actually kill.

 

This happends to EVERY creature, be it bandits, wizards or wolves.

 

I thought to myself: "Hmm... Something is clearly wrong here." and then I started uninstalling the newly installed and updated mods that I have to find the culprit.

It didnt work out that well. I've been unable to find the mod that's causing it. Sure, I havent uninstalled everything but I did uninstall close to all new mods I've installed and/or updated. I've even uninstalled overhaul mods that I didnt update just to see if they were the problem... Well, I havent succeeded in finding what's causing it.

 

So have anyone had this problem before and if I need to give you a list of mods that I have installed, what is the best way of getting that list? Got quite alot of them installed at the moment (most of them are armor/clothing/weapon mods) so it would take ages and a day to write it all down by hand.

Use NMM (Nexus Mod Manager), go to the Plug in Tab, in the left hand column is an option to Export your current list of plug ins. Save it to clipboard or a text document. Now open that file, highlight everything and copy it. Reply to the post here...but don't simply paste your text....at the top left of this response window, the 3rd icon over..."Special BB Codes".....select that and pick the "Spoiler" option. In the small window that appears, now paste all of your text from that file. Once complete simply hit "OK"...then Post....and you're done.

 

Also, just verify in your gameplay settings that you didn't mysteriously get set up to a higher/harder level of play.....Master, Legendary...I don't know if you played at a lower level...but if you did, you might have some how gotten that particular setting changed and were not aware of it.

I did check that the difficulty wasnt ramped up and it wasn't but even if it was, I find it strange that not even the kill command can't kill the enemies. It's almost like everyone of them have become essential.

I have this problem too. Somehow not all are unkillable some are spawned corrctly others will just spawn invulnreble. And i think is because of too many mods played with at the same time.

 

Check your load order, you have just way too many mods try getting rid of some of them and you will see your game will become stable again. Overloading your pc with too many script intensive mods is never a good idea.

im having the same issue. sometimes wolves or skevers and sabercats would spawn unkillable other times there killable

same here! has something to do with one of my follower mods, since the NPC s have become ESSENTIAL since I installed those. killing with the console does not work and disabling neither but permanently deleting destroys them after reloading the cell. I am still about to find a permanent solution since I sadly have no good savegames before I installed the new mods :( It has to bei either RDO or UFO in my case.
