I not going to buy any games from Bestbuy. This copy is my 3rd copy of Fallout 3 and still won't work. I try the official thread about CRC error. I try the CCleaner method. I try the Safe Mode method. And I try the firmware method. Not single one work. I going back to Bestbuy and demand my money back.

So, My suggestion is don't go to Best Buy to get PC games.

I had problems getting the texture.bsa to work. The only way round it was to load the game on to my wife's laptop and then copy the textures.bsa onto a flash drive and transfer it across. Game worked fine once I did that.

Is there any site or location where I can download Textures.bsa file?

Not as far as I'm aware. It's about 1GB in size. You got a mates computer you can use? Family?

they had nothing in the store at all no f***ing games. I went there to return Fable I and exchange for either Halo2 (for online play with a friend) or Diablo and they didnt have it. WHO DOESENT HAVE HALO!? LOL ive never even heard of such a thing. Halo seems to be one of the msot popular franchises out there why wouldnt be in best buy? ridiculous.

Thats strange as I've bought many games from them with no problems ,including F3, not saying anything bad but are you sure your PC is capable of handling the game?

Good Luck!

I guess its just the store dude. hell the folks at my best buy sucked tried to apply for a job there and they lost my file. WTF? and they didnt call me back to tell me they lost the file so I had to sit in my house with my thumb up my ass waiting to see if I got accepted or not and meanwhile they dont even call me to tell me they lost the file. not only that they said they were gonna call in within 2 weeks and never called I had to call THEM.

I've had a similar CRC install problem with another game, and it turned out to be the specific DVD drive in my computer couldn't read that disk. I had to plug in another drive, or image on another computer and install from the image. It's very annoying, but even my regular DVD player can't play every DVD without errors, but switching to another brand DVD player resolves the problem.

It is unlikely to have anything to do with the retailer (Bestbuy) and more likely the company that did the disk duplication of the game DVDs and/or your specific brand/model/or firmware of DVD drive.

One final thing to check is disk corruption. Try doing a disk check and surface scan of your hard disk(s) as a little hard disk error can cause these kinds of problems with installing software.
