How to create new section in craft menus? (leather, steel, etc)

I'd like to create a new section for craft menus for sorting purposes, like in the tanning rack or cooking pot or forge. How would I do this? I've seen new categories in the forge, for example, like "Ancient Draugr".

You can't actually create new categories--what some mods do is rename one of the few unused categories that are hard-coded in the game. You can do the same (instructions here), just be aware that your mod will conflict with other mods that rename the same category.
