Druuler
From the Jessi's main page/description page: "UPDATE: 12/12/09Regards the Menu Freeze or Jessi not talking and just greeting you. If you experience this bug then follow the instructions to reset her that's in the manual or below in the previous update then when you re-enable her avoid using the GUARD HERE function and instead use chill out instead. Sleepytime as worked out that this is causing the problems and for more info refer to Jessi's discussions on the matter.Thanks.UPDATE: 15/08/09MENU FREEZE:A few people seem to have a case of the Lazyitus lately :)If you have the issue where Jessi's menus lock up then could you please take another look at her known issues read me for a work around. This should be the first thing you do when you encounter an issue." Even though the update was supposed to fix this issue, for most people, it did not.
ncrvet
I did see thatbut how do I re enable her?:/I looked at the readme no instructions there Edited May 1, 2013 by ncrvet
Druuler
Hmm, sorry, instructions sometimes are written with the belief that the reader will understand all the terminology. Re-enabling Jessi requires you to deactivate then reactivate Jessi, resulting in your having to go recruit her once again. This will require you to take any items you have given her that you want back out of her inventory. The instructions for that are in the ReadMe under "***** MENU FREEZE BUG, DIALOG BUG, WON'T TALK TO ME *****". After you have done that (if you needed/wanted to) do a hard save (ESC key, then choose Save) and exit the game. Now, deactivate/disable (or un-tick) Jessi in your load order, then start the game again using the save you just made. Do another hard save and exit once more, then reactivate/re-enable (tick) Jessi and play the game from that last save. This process of saving/exiting and turning a mod on and off is referred to as making a "clean save". This is done to remove any junk data (bad information) in a save file that may be left behind by a mod. I hope that helps you :)
