Husain
I kinda sorta dropped a few thousand goblets/plates/etc clutter items then proceeded to use a few run spells to make them go flying. I tried using the PCB command multiple times from multiple places (connected and non connected to whiteruns cell). I also tried using the Save Game Cleaner tool around here somewhere that didn't fix it either. Nothing I do seems to be working... Am I doing it wrong? Husain
http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#tab=Mods_and_Savegames I followed this guide to a "T" and still nothing. I just can't seem to get whiterun to reset.... any ideas?
IsharaMeradin
For most exterior cells you need to stay away from the area for at least 30 in-game days. I suggest going to a different hold and doing a few quests there or just sleep/wait it off.---- tho that is pretty much what the step guide has you do... If it still doesn't clear up after waiting 30+ in-game days, then short of picking it all up by hand... no clue.
whateveroo
Go to another hold or any home far away from whiterun, sleep for 30 days using this mod (leave the pc a bit till it gets finished), then try entering whiterun again.
Husain
Yeah I've tried the wait 30 days thing. I was in a dev room that was supposedly not connected to anything in skyrim so the cells would reset properly. I will try it from markarth or somewhere far away. And yes that mod is super helpful. prod80
If nothing seems to help and your only way out seems starting a new game... you could try one of these perhaps - but it's a risky operation for scripts;http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31675 for any other random crap laying around giving you problems;http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31724/ PLEASE TAKE THE AUTHORS ADVISE; Make 100% sure you have a backup of your savegame that you plan to use any of these tools on!! Husain
Yup, already tried that save cleaner, that didn't help either. is there an automated way to get back my progress even if artificially? (I know you can get back weapons/armor/spells/etc, I am mainly worried about quests)
prod80
if you have a list of your completed quests and progresses you can add them later per console commands... but honestly I have no idea if that will be stable in any way
