Avendil
Hi guys, So, i'm an "old" skyrim player and moded my game since the release of this amaizing game. So, as you might guess, I have a lot of them. As I'm going to uninstall skyrim, but knwo I will install it again in like a couple of mounths (I mean like 13 to 15 monthes) and that I will most likely not remember by that time of all the great mods I had, I'd like to know if there was a wayt to "save" your mods, as I saved my characters by copying the "saves" file and pasting it on an external hard disk. I don't necessrly have to copy all the mods files i think, just want to have NMM detecting them again? or copy all mods files? As I don't know a dam thing about how mods works (always used NMM installer or easy to folow instalation tutorials) I was hoping you could help me. Thanks, Avendil. ub3rman123
Uninstalling Skyrim will only remove content that was installed by the disk. It won't delete your mods folder; that would have to be done manually.
Avendil
Ok thanks. But let's say that I switch PC in the meantime, then I would lost them most likely. So would be then a way to recover them as easyly as you can recover your saved games? P.S: Sorry for my bad english by the way.
ub3rman123
While it might take a little while, after uninstalling, you can copy your Skyrim Data folder to another storage place. When you reinstall, merge that saved data folder with the new one.
