Please help! My water is broken :(

I did try with BOSS, it changed the load order. Before it ramdomly had organized itself alphabetic. But i still get CTD when i launch the game.

 

Is anyone else having the water ripples be kinda laggy and bugged? Because they didn't go back to narmal, even when i disabled every mod in my load order. I know it's not because of my PC, because i know someone that has the exact same PC, and he has no problems.

CTD when launching the game is mod related... (mostly missing master) download TES5Edit ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25859/ )

 

Open that program, it will present you with your mods & load order. Select all that are active (if you have inactive mods there) and start the process. This is the same as starting Skyrim basically except that it will tell you which mod failed to load and why (cause of your CTD). Then you can take preventive action on that.

Mmmm I'll list the order of my mods when i'm back at home perhaps it helps. Using TES5Edit is a good way to find out what causes the crash indeed.

I bet TES5Edit is a great tool if you understand it.

For me its just a wall of text. I see that there is some errors, but i have no idea why, and what i should do about it.

 

 

I really want to fix my game, and im afraid if i have to do a clean install, that i won't be able to play my current saves.

But when opening the program it started to import all your mods, right?
Was it successful at the end or did it popup in your screen that it wasnt able to load mod XYZ because reason ABC?

 

I do not care much for all the errors shown after successful loading ... :p

There is no popup after loading the mods.

This is the load order i'm using and dont have any issues on the moment with Water in the game (I had the same issue) but that's gone so you could try this :)

But Skyrim CTD after loading, right before/at the point when the menu options (should) appear? :blink: This is almost certainly mod related.

 

Mostly TES5Edit should show you where it goes wrong (actually first time right now where it apparently doesnt show)...

 

I assume the game loads fine without mods... if thats the case your load order is just not right

Tbh i don't know exactly why it works now, but i moved something in the load order, and now i can open the game..

It still has that weird water ring, and the bugged water ripple effect, but i can live with that for now :)
