Insane wolf, bear and saber cats spawning

For some reason on the side of Castle Volkihar where you would sneak in to go to the garden, wolves, bears and saber cats are spawning in large numbers. I have no idea why and going near it drops my fps insanely low. After managing to kill them all the game itself stutters here and there now. I went back to the castle only to find even more animal mobs had spawned! Not sure what to do but the hicups in the game from so many creatures spawning is getting annoying. Does anyone have a fix?

This is what you get, supporting WWF and all... big cats and bears taking over the planet! :D na, jk... have any spawn mods/animal mods installed? you might wanna have a look at those - could be a glitch with one of them...

I don't have any mods that effect animal spawns except warzones to which I have animal spawns off. Also the bear Galmor wants you to kill when joining the dawnguard spawns at castle volkihar with all of the other animals.

It is the warzones mod causing this issue. I have tried deactivating, reinstalling and starting a new character but I always have this problem. Sometimes random npc's would also spawn in mass hordes in areas where you wouldn't think they should be. I had a huge band of forsworn attack me near white run.

lol... this actually sounds like fun... perhaps there's something you can do about it... reading thsi Warzones page, useless, no info whatsoever besides the author being cocky and not really putting any helpfull command that might help...

 

Make a new save to test on

 

See if typing this in console gives you hits under QUEST (quest not other crap)

 

help "warzone"

help "wzone"

help "warz"

help "wz"

 

See if you can find something that's related to spawns under Quest if you get hits... if it does then note it down and type this into console

 

stopquest <whatyouwrotedown>

startquest <whatyouwrotedown>

 

test...

 

Not sure tho, this is just a wild guess, but the mod page says zero troubleshooting this

The only quest related things that would appear in the console were summon the god of warzones, and to which unfortunately I can no longer talk to him to set my spawns. Gah I love this mod but it's causing too many headaches.

I have this same issue, but I don't have warzones. I have only 2 mods that effect the Castle... Unnofficial Dawnguard Patch and Caslte Volkihar Redux... already tried disabling both and they still spawn a horde of sabrecats, wolves, and bears.

I've been having this issue for a long time. I purged my skyrim completely, re-installed with no mods and the problem was still there. But my saves still remembered the mass spawns! Once I got rid of those in my docuements > my games > skyrim > saves > and deleted that folder, it didnt stop until I deleted the saves. So this elusive bug for me was there. I had warzones a long time ago. Not sure what it was, but I am betting that is what it was.

 

Yes I had to start from scratch and coc to volkihar and run around. But no more spawns. coc DLC1VampireCastleExterior03
