How to install ENB preset using MO2

Hello,

 

I would like to install an ENB preset in MO2. In oldrim this was never a problem but now in SSE it is. When I click the mod in the downloads tab I get the message:

"the content of <data> does not look valid". I have to do something in order to get the message: "looks good". In the case of an ENB preset I cannot seem to get that right.

Can somebody tell me how to do that? I had that same message both with RUdy and Vividian ENB.

 

Or is it perhaps to be recommended to manually install by dropping the files in the skyrim SE directory? Both ENB presets do not even have instructions for MO2 users so might this be better?

MO2 expects installed files to be relative to the Data folder. Any files that would be need to be outside of that will need to be manually installed.

So your message is: just copy the whole bunch to the skyrim folder?
